Trump is a freak and it’s part of why he’s popular. He embodies the Yankee Doodle Dandy tradition of Americans just not giving a fuck about being fruity while still being genocidal hyper capitalists. His populist appeal does not change the fact that he’ll let Christian fascists do whatever they want to us. No matter how queer coded he is, he’s still more genuinely evil than almost any other figure in modern history.
