So cool! I would also love to see a day train from Malmö/Stockholm to somewhere in Germany ‿
“The subsidies do not include the purchase of new rolling stock, as “the link could be operated with the rolling stock currently in use from Zurich to Amsterdam””
Does this mean the train between Sweden and Zurich won’t be an additional train connection but rather a change in destination: Stockholm instead of Amsterdam?..
Will it stop in Germany? No? :(
Sure, it will. In the middle of nowhere due to ‘engineering work’.
If it did, it would turn half of the time into a two-nights train
It’s better this way …
My guess would be Freiburg and/or maybe Karlsruhe.
It’ll definitely take a detour via Würzburg and take 3 hours longer than scheduled.
For a nighttrain that’s less bad than for a regular train i’d say.
Poor french people confusing Suisse and Suède.
