He went on to say that the phrase “Free Gaza” was “supportive of Palestine Action”, adding it was an offence “to express an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed organisation, namely Palestine Action is an offence under section 12(1A) of the Terrorism Act”. The officer told her she had committed that offence.

The officers said they would arrest Murton unless she provided her name and address, which she reluctantly agreed to do.

    This is fucking unbelievable.

This needs to be challenged and fought over in a court whereby the police and government lose serious sums of money from overreaching and harassing the public.

Until then this tactic of intimidation will continue.

The government can “lose” all the money they want; it’s the people’s tax money going down the drain. Tyranny needs to be stopped in the streets.

Another “democracy” shows itself for what it really is. Fascist UK government officials who back criminalizing support for Palestine deserve the most severe of punishments. UK ruling class are supporting terrorism and genocide.
