I know nothing about Javier Milei nor about Argentinian politics in general. But I know he’s a bad person because Trump endorses him.

Usually for latinamerican politics, there’s no “good” ones, we are forced to pick the less bad but sometimes people pick the worse because they are angry at the previous parties.
Look at México, that’s how the expresident won, everyone turned a blind eye to his history to “teach previous parties a lesson”.

And sometimes there’s no less bad, but we still have to pick.

That’s practically part of our heritage. What’s new is doing it in so ham-handed a fashion.

remember when the zelinski blackmail was a big thing. good times. history classes are going to be interesting talking about how the only way trump could do what he did was due to these complicit members in cogress at the time.

Someone on here said, and I’m trying, that we should stop talking about Trump and say instead, “Republicans did <whatever awful thing>.”

Yeah. I mean the constitution has a mechanism to stop this type of abuse and its impeachment. They know the constitution and the law. Then know this is wrong. I don’t know how they could not see how no ones going to come out of this better. Its ultimately on them. I would place most of the blame on congressional republicans, then on right biased judges making political rulings, and finally trump and his administration which gets into the whole machine behind it. Its crazy how many people have to be crazy to get this result. Think tanks, congressmen, judges, extreme rich folks, trump, maga.

How out of touch with reality must you be to think saying that will make people vote for your lackey?

This is argentina. The main opposition are a pile of thieves. The opposition before Milei to them is a round robin of people who seem to fail anyway.

The problem with argentina is the voting public

Classic. The Monroe Doctrine exists to ensure only the US can meddle in the Americas.
