Yet I found the opposite of you and went for a Surface Pro.

I found macOS not good looking, in fact it seems to swing between surgical sterility (mute gray everywhere), to too much colors added with little fore through to the point it can be garish. Add to the fact things like to pop up and move/wiggle when you click/launch things just to grab attention really makes it hard to focus (random movements I find very distracting).

Not touch screen removes the ability to be creative and draw unless I bring another device, same with studying (I write notes as I learn new things, half screen for study source, other side for OneNote to write).

Add the fact that Apple EoL Mac computers after 5 years at those prices…
