This is why when companies merge it’s always a bad thing
VMware was going to hell before the acquisition. Openshift adoption far greater since VMware raised prices.
That, and azure stack edge.
Broadcom has a particularly bad habit about it.
But that’s wrong. AMD merged with Xilinx to enhance their product portfolio. They are doing a lot of AI products now, so it was partially an acquihire.
No surprises here, they gutted Symantec.
