As well as the other suggestions, was discussing this with someone just yesterday and they suggested filling the port with PVA glue (like the stuff used at school, not super glue or epoxy!) and a bit of thread, then pulling it out with all the crud once it’s set.
No idea how effective it is personally, when I got my current phone I got some plastic usb c port covers and that stays in place whenever I’m not charging, so far it’s done the job.
Because they shit themselves inside out and were no longer full of it?
A 5060 with 8gb will have Intel wringing their hands with glee. Whatever performance gains the ($300-350) 5060 GPU has (and I don’t doubt they’ll be notable) will be choked off by an 8gb framebuffer. They might do a 16gb clamshell like they did with the 4060ti but like you said, where does that leave the 12gb 70 card?
If “Learning from history” counts as education, I wouldn’t call it an uneducated guess.
I get a lot of courtroom videos on my feed, and it seems any time someone shouts something aggressive they tack on a “terroristic threat” charge.
Him having Polio isn’t the only reason he’s speaking up.
He’s also not seeking reelection at the end of his current term.
Thinking about it, it would be nice if when formatting a partition on mlc based drives, you could specify the number of bits per cell used. So an 8tb QLC drive could be formatted as a 2tb SLC for those who want the resilience, without having to commit to it permanently.
I’m sure there are technical reasons that would be difficult, but everything started out difficult until we figured it out.
I put that out but the stupid chicken choked while I was looking for a YouTube video 4:42 long
Innuendo in my ass.
If I’d seen this post a few minutes earlier it could have been Good Old-fashioned lover boy in my ass, and a bit later would have been I want it all in my ass.
The Queen back catalogue is full of winners for this game.
Who cares as long as they’re gone?
Because their maiden name is Judge Fasbuk?
That makes sense, although I must have just missed it, for people I work with to catch it.
A lot of people I work with were affected, I wasn’t one of them. I had assumed it was because I put my machine to sleep yesterday (and every other day this week) and just woke it up after booting it. I assumed it was an on startup thing and that’s why I didn’t have it.
Our IT provider already broke EVERYTHING earlier this month when they remote installed" Nexthink Collector" which forced a 30+ minute CHKDSK on every boot for EVERYONE, until they rolled out a fix (which they were at least able to do remotely), and I didn’t want to have to deal with that the week before I go in leave.
But it sounds like it even happened to running systems so now I don’t know why I wasn’t affected, unless it’s a windows 10 only thing?
Our IT have had some grief lately, but at least they specified Intel 12th gen on our latest CAD machines, rather than 13th or 14th, so they’ve got at least one win.

When my eldest was four she had a hundred kids, the eldest of whom was 1 million years old.

Yeah, i7’s (along with i5’s and i3’s) from the 1st to 7th gen aren’t supported, 8th gen has mixed support.
They still run 11 just fine in practice, but installation isn’t as straightforward.
