Ackshully, what has made this game so pricey is the lack of regional pricing. In that they are charging the literal converted value of the game in foreign currency to us.

Games with regional pricing, even the pricey ones, tend to go for about ~250 beans.

I think the way we treat The Law as a Suggestion is very much a national exclusivity. Other people, especially first worlders, are a lot more reverent about it.
