Yes indeed, I work in printing and use AI regularly. But I use it as a tool to enhance things, not to start something from scratch. Square picture needs to be A4? I let it generate the extra space around. Foot cut off on the bottom? AI adds it (after a couple of attempts sometimes). Or upsaling can also do miracles nowadays. But for text you really can’t use it. If there is text generated, I generate background over the text, and later add proper text in indesign.
