Do it! I think there’s a huge overlap in the vibe between Helldivers and DRG, though I haven’t played Helldivers so I can’t say for sure.

I am mostly the same as the author of the link, especially when it comes to games where voice chat with strangers is a requirement. That said, I really like Deep Rock Galactic, because it’s collaborative and has a combination of culture and design that as long as you’re not actively malicious people usually see a bad player as an opportunity to teach, not to get mad. Plus, the game has pretty good communication tools such that quick in game chat messages are usually enough to get by when playing with randos online.

I have not used T-Mobile specifically but I did try out a 5g home internet product and one thing to look out for is that trees can interfere with your signal, so make sure there’s not trees between where you’ll put your access point and the towers. If you’re in the northern hemisphere and the leaves have fallen also keep in mind that the signal could be affected more when the leaves come back.

Interesting, I think I’ve probably never noticed because I use night vision pretty much all the time when I’m flying my ship. I’ll look into reshade but I’m playing on Linux via proton and I’m not sure I want to hack more on an already working setup lol

Not sure I’m familiar. I picked the game up last summer and got Odyssey pretty soon after the base game and didn’t notice a difference then, so maybe?

I am back on Elite Dangerous after taking some time to focus on Deep Rock Galactic in the first half of the year. I now have a second flight stick and did a little community class on flight assist off flying. Plus there have been lots of updates coming out. Taking advantage of the new engineering changes to build a really good combat ship and then going to focus on getting to Elite in combat probably, which also helps me practice my faoff flying.

This is not a nice way to talk to people. Please try to be more kind to others going forward.
