7·18 days agoWhy is Thunderbird bad? I kinda like it. Simple, snappy. Has an annoying freeze when opening an email, but that’s about it.

Once you figure out how traefik is configured, this is super logical and easy. Also, you can use it with podman and qublet on fedora, so you can manage it all with systemd.

Tldr; Traefik is looking at all containers and scans for labels (attributes on containers). If certain labels are set, Traefik adjust itself. So the trick is how to set those labels, which both docker compose and qublet make easy, but qublet doesn’t need a compatibility package and comes natively with podman.

Kurzman really destroyed trek.
I will see what comes out in the first 3 episodes, but as with discovery, I have extremely little expectations. Discovery ruined new trek for me: still cannot get over the mushroom drive and waterbear providing maps by shocking it with electricity, constantly whispering and whining of the main character, another crybaby destroyed dilithium in the galaxy because he has a ‘connection’… Take your pick
They do have some good casting, like Tig Notaro. Hope there are other good ones as well.

There are countries that have active programs for Immigration of scientists from the USA.
In the EU, most of the countries at least, you don’t need to look behind you.
There is a problem with illegal migrants / middle easterns here with low income that cause issues (speaking from experience), but overall is pretty safe.
Does this mean also production plants outside of USA?

Don’t know how to help you with those vdi problems, but here is an out of the box thinking: tell him to ask a neighbor.
I have a similar situation so i got a hetzner VM and set up wireguard connections from both ends, so that vm serves as a hub/router. Then you can just ssh into the machine via vpn and do an update, upgrade or whatever.
If you stick with Ubuntu lts, it will require very little maintenance.

Not an expert on the topic, but I guess this will come down to companies providing the services (meta, signal, telegram…) to embed the scanning.
If they don’t force google/apple to implement it somehow for all outgoing messages (traffic?)
