If you stop playing by the rules it soon becomes a race for who puts their opponent through the literal woodchipper first. Some republicans are already trying to incite assassinations and lynching. They’d have a head start. Do you really want to go there? Let’s say the Democrats somehow come out of this on top. Do you want to be represented by people who cheated, lied and maybe caused the death of their opponents? If so, that’s okay. Just saying.
