So essentially what is happening, is the government is pointing at the sitting active and current acting president and said “Yeah, that guy’s not with us”.
And if anyone of trumps cultists finds out they’ll blacklist anyone in government (or not in government) and say they need to pay.
Meanwhile, the people in government realize how destructive he is and trying to tiptoe around his actions while at the same time, trying not to let this country become the dumpster fire that it is becoming.
We live in the dumbest timeline.

No, he said the US and the Soviets were allied against Germany and yet diplomatic relations with the latter today are better than with Russia. Which is stupid in so many ways that I don’t even feel like it’s worth debating it.
