I sure do hope they (Mamdani and others) manage to write out a detailed and functioning plan before that. I am very worried that Trump will try to put “pressure” on Mamdani to prevent him from taking power, but such pressure would be less meaningful if others could just take his place. That would, paradoxically, make it less likely that trump does anything in the first place.
I hope for Mamdani to win the mayor race and for Bernie Sanders to start training the next generation to take over from him.
