Who use dermestid beetles as clean up crew? The usual beetle for that matter is Alphitobius diaperinus (or any tenebrionid), maybe dermestid beetles don’t eat oothecas?

I have several tenebrionids, A. diaperinus are in my dubia roach bin because those roaches keep the ootheca inside, but I can’t put any tenebrionid with my red runners because they lay the ootheca and the larvae could eat that.

Looks like it refers to cockroach breading / holding bins, for feeding pet lizards. Or possibly the trash can of a very avid cannabis smoker.

We have a very handsome and friendly gecko whom we feed crickets. One can buy a little kit to start one’s own small cricket farm to avoid having to pay 15¢ each. I’ve not done it, but it’s apparently common in the reptile/amphibian pet community.

Things that made me unable to use tampons before I started HRT:

    dysphoria

    vaginismus

The emotional knowledge of this post traveling backwards through time to clamp my vagina shut, a la Childhood’s End.

Centipedes, in my vagina? No, something far worse: carpet beetle hairs.

Mine either. But I did the mistake of websearching them:

        • roach bin - apparently some people breed cockroaches as pets, or to feed their actual pets with.
        • dermestid beetle aka carpet beetle - they’re so notorious for feasting on dead bodies that forensics uses their presence/development to estimate date of death.
        • pap smear - cells collected from the cervix, used to check for cancer.

They are individually wrapped in plastic, pads as well. Maybe it’s not every brand? I know panty liners are not wrapped individually but I don’t know how a spike on one could travel so far up.
