What did they do to get people to vote for them? Because they spent the last 4 years doing the “Everything is fine” meme while everyone’s quality of life rapidly started to deteriorate. Even candidates in Democratic strongholds saw their numbers nose dive last year because they have nothing to offer people other than “we aren’t Trump”.

Because they spent the last 4 years doing the “Everything is fine” meme while everyone’s quality of life rapidly started to deteriorate.

If only it were just that. They made it perfectly clear that they lied about all of the individual benefits in build back better and never had any intention at all of passing them. They made it clear that they won’t increase the minimum wage and that it will remain stuck at 7.25 forever. They didn’t revisit the public option. They didn’t protect Roe. They didn’t protect democracy with the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. They didn’t reschedule cannabis. The only person who could count on democrats to do what they said they would was netanyahu.

Democrats have a massive credibility problem and they earned it.

There it is! The assumption that anyone who is upset in the slightest with democrats for any reason whatsoever must be a trumper!

You lost to trump because you did nothing, but you don’t want the party to ever improve, so you’ll keep blaming anyone who doesn’t love how the only thing the party can ever seem to accomplish is selling weapons for genocide.

Not only that but they completely threw away any semblance of morality with the Gaza genocide and they allowed Trump to get away with the January 6th attack enabling his return

Exactly. But we still have weasels even on here defending their genocide-loving asses. The Democratic party needs to be purged or burned to the ground. We’re in a two party system. And the Democratic party is currently the biggest barrier to progress in the country. It is fundamentally beyond reformation. Only by burning it to ashes will leave space for an actual left wing party to rise.

Clearly it’s not since it didn’t wven work against George W Bush 20 years ago. It worked against Trump in 2020 because the morges were literally over flowing with COVID deaths. The Democrats keep slodding firther and further right but become less and less popular each time, while people like you atrack their critics rather than the people who keep doing the exact same political games that keep losing elections.

The critics contributed to electing trump, so I do criticize them. At the time of the election, it’s time to get behind the candidate.

Bitch all you want during the primaries, but when your candidate loses and trump is the alternative it’s time to hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils.

It’d say I hope Americans learn and next time elect Bernie or AOC, but they have shown time and again that they will elect a corporate dem and the shitshow will continue. I’ll be over here enjoying universal Healthcare and smugness. You guys do whatever it is you’re doing.

Which is why the Dems propped up Trump, so the only argument they would need to qualify for was “we aren’t Trump”. And people got tired of that “good cop, bad cop” game, where both parties are ultimately against the people.

I’ve seen the lists you’re talking about. They contain duplicate entries, give biden credit for Obama’s accomplishments, try to coast on Obama’s accomplishments from 15 years ago, treat “asking the DEA to look into rescheduling cannabis” as “successfully rescheduling cannabis,” and count repainting air force one as an accomplishment.

                    insulin price cap
