It’s because the left has allowed itself to be absorbed by establishment liberals, who have way too little stock with the people for their words to move anyone. This is the inevitable consequence of progressives regarding liberals as allies rather than slightly more tasteful (and more insidious) enemies.

      You sure?

If I was a right wing think tank my first move would be to get the left to identify as very strict categories and then create a bunch of infighting as if they’re little island before I crush them.

The left fails because they don’t act strategically

        You sure?

Yes? The Bernie-Trump pipeline is a thing for a reason; when people don’t find solutions on the left they look for them on the right.

The left fails because they don’t act strategically

What strategy could possibly be involved in talking about a thing? What’s happening is plain and simple: The left is talking about the files, about the fascism, about everything, but the right isn’t listening and the center is only listening to the superficial stuff. This isn’t a problem that can be fixed by acting more strategically, only by adopting a better strategy.

The Bernie - Trump pipeline is not real. People turned to the right or center because the left lost the plot a long time ago. It’s so ineffective and most people can see the collapse of it. It’s in the same state the right was before they took a hard right to the fringe. It will get worse and worse each year.
