I think what they’re doing is more horrible if it’s a conscious choice and I think we should admit that normal people can be that cruel. It’s the banality of evil. These are mentally healthy people. They love their spouse and kids. They can appreciate the beauty of a subnset. They have hopes and dreams and they used to be kids and one day they’ll be elderlies who feed pigeons at the park. And they want to deport children for having the wrong skin colour. That’s terrifying and I understand why people don’t want to believe it, but it’s true and it’s important to understand that it’s true.
