If any day China decides to stop selling anything to Europe, we are in trouble. Except if there are factories in Taiwan, India, Vietnam, South Korea and, say, Thailand, also producing what we need.
It’s still a Chinese company, but if someone absolutely must buy a BYD car, for whatever stupid reason, it’s a lot less bad that the car was made in Thailand than that it was made in China!
