    Surprising nobody:

    https://www.opensecrets.org/industries/indus?ind=Q05

“Even with the policy victories coming under a Republican president, the lobby still remained staunch Democratic contributors, giving more than $14.8 million in the 2018 midterms to mostly Democrats. This marked their third-biggest cycle ever and their biggest non-presidential cycle.”

Until there’s a pro-Palestine lobby with the same influence, power, and most importantly, money as the pro-Israel lobby, nothing will change.

"AIPAC Targets Progressives With $100 Million in Its Coffers

Members of The Squad and other progressives running in Democratic primaries are targets of the pro-Israel group largely funded by Republicans and Trump donors"

Palestine is quite literally dirt poor, they aren’t going to be funding anything. The diaspora might, but it’s no match for Israeli state funding.

The only reason there was any fighting back in the territories is the external funding and weapons supplied from nearby countries who wanted to damage Israel.

These other countries don’t actually care about Palestinians though, the suffering is actually beneficial to weakening Israel politically so they’re not going to try to make changes to improve the situation.
