The Labour Party could have made the case for a humane immigration system that treats refugees with dignity. Instead it has fanned the flames of racism and emboldened the far right.
I wonder among the Labour ministers who were complicit in his ouster, how many were always cryptofascists planning this from the start in secret like Starmer, and how many were actually fooled by use of the magic word to make people go away, “aNTisEmiTisM!”
Streeting wouldn’t surprise me, hes always been a boot licker.
Starmer I feel is just fascist adjacent with a lot of his actual policy preferences, such as his stance of marijuana being a mass gateway drug, and absolutely willing to say anything to stay in, see that speech on Island of Strangers.
They’re neoliberals, and as such have more in common with fascists than with socialists.
“Liberal democracy is the moderate wing of fascism” as they say, except with Starmer, not so moderate.
As much as Feddit.uk does not mention it, in the 2024 GE more people voted for reform and the Tories than Labour and Lib Dems.
So Corbyn is arguably wrong, and the Labour government is actually only in power because of FPTP, and everything was already in place before Labour did whatever they have, or have not done.

More voted against facists than for. The Labour we got is betraying the voters by not following the policies they promised.
Oh that’s nice. I was recalling figures that were released in the 24-48 hours after the election. Maybe there is a reason to have some hope.
