In 2023, I started developing this game which is a tribute to classic role-playing games and franco-belgian comics. It was also an opportunity for me to learn how to draw using pencil and paper. It’s a solo dev experience, I tried to do all aspects of the game: programming, drawing, writing and music.

Congratulations on making and shipping a game on your own. That’s really fucking impressive.

The game looks very cool, I’ll definitely try the demo later!

Finally, a quest I can relate to and get behind.

Go murder a bunch of crabs to make the town safer? Size your destiny and become the legendary hero? Tired, cliche, no thanks.

We wanted to make some banger cheese, so we left it in the dungeon to age, but now a dragon lives there and I really want that cheese? Now THATS a quest I wanna go on!

Haha :D Yes the game has a naive tone; most of the nobles who give quests seem detached from the big picture. But at the same time, that cheese looks really good, you have to find it.

Oh lord this looks incredible. What’s the age rating/target audience for this? I’m a teacher who works to try and bring quality and engaging games into the classroom, and at a glance it feels like a perfect junior high entry into gaming.

I consider it OK for all ages, but it can be boring for under 8, because it’s a classic RPG with turn-based combat. There are no rude words; my two daughters can play it (7 and 12). You can try the demo if you want to check before, in 15 minutes you will know if it fits your need. Thank you for your support!!

I teach 7s and up, so the absolute youngest I deal with is 11. I will absolutely check it out. Thank you for both creating and sharing this.

Hmm… Already had it on my wish list despite believing this is the first time I have seen this. What sorcery is this?

It was on my wishlist already too, but I do remember seeing it a while back and being intrigued.

Yes, this genre is a bit niche nowadays :) It’s also a tribute to might and magic 3-8, so if you like this kind of classic rpg, you can try the demo, I would be glad to have your feedback!
