One of our clients (very large firm that services, directly or indirectly, a majority of Americans) requires us to run a background check with monitoring on any of our staff servicing them. They pay for it as long as we use their provider (Orange Tree). They definitely do not check for any sort of affiliations. As long as your criminal record is clean, you’re good.
