    It still boggles my mind that we had a violent insurrection. We all watched something on the news that will be in history books and will be a lecture topic in college us history courses for years to come.

      Not only that, and the constant death threats, but there was an actual attack on the Speaker of the House at her home… they attacked her husband while she was away. Don’t think they haven’t forgotten that. A mob can maybe be summoned again, sure. But, they can absolutely get lone terrorists to come to your home if you vote against the maga.

        Gabby Giffords and Steve Scalise too. Political violence is more accepted now. The idea that it’s justified to hurt or even kill people because we disagree with them is quite frankly terrifying.

      We all watched something on the news that will be in history books and will be a lecture topic in college us history courses for years to come.

      If we’re lucky it will go down that way. If we’re not, it will just be a footnote to what happens in 2025 or 2029.
