Over the years I’ve lived through 7 or 8 different administrations. Usually it’s a balance of good and bad. They all do some good, some bad, and depending on how you feel about them, the more you focus on one side of that scale or the other. But this fucking administration is crazy. Like 99% of the shit they do is just straight up bad. Bad for the environment. Bad for the people living here. Bad for people living in other countries. Bad for the future. It’s like every time they have to do something, they get in a room and decide what the worst possible thing they can get away with, and then do that.
That just it, though, they didn’t have to do anything. They could have coasted on fat paychecks, bribery and insider trading for 4 years. They’ve deliberately chosen to do all these terrible things. The only cohesive reasoning in their policy making has been “because we said so and no one is stopping us”.
