    Imagine believing that the 2A protects us from tyranny in a country where showing a pig your gun is a recognized form of suicide.

    Internet tough-guys on the left trying to be a version of the Black Panthers. Too bad it’s the version from Forrest Gump.

      It’s for sure an added risk to be armed. Especially open carring long guns in a protest. However, after reading about the Deacons for Defense and Justice, I currently think that the reminder of that threat needs to be present.

      The 2A doesn’t protect us from anything, least of all violence. I believe we need multiple forms of resistance, and the 2A is just one.

      Also, seeing that the 2A is a part of many American’s identities, including MAGA cult members, I think it would be interesting to see the regime try and strip that right from any group of people.
