Ubuntu's Yaru theme will closely follow the vanilla GNOME Shell design in the upcoming 26.04 release, as its developers aim to reduce the maintenance burden.
Not trying to start a eight or wrong discussion but for me it’s always the first step to get the vanilla gnome when I install a new distro or reinstall. I really like it or dislike all the other versions. Ubuntu unity ia probably responsible for this.
It’s cool if it works for you. For me it doesn’t. Zorin actually got it right. It’s what Gnome should’ve been like IMO. Or… keep the way it was being done in Gnome 2. That was the best.
