We may seem peaceful, but we are far from harmless. We are a bunch of the richest countries on the planet after all. WW3 would only happen if Putin is too stupid to understand this.

Even without the US, the combined effort of all other NATO countries is more than strong enough to defend against Russia and other external threats.
