I can’t say I ever paid a huge amount of attention to the sun exposure advice, after the first “shedding” I just use sunscreen.
That’s partly because some of my tatts are on places that are hard to cover, and partly because I live in a semi-tropical zone so apart from the middle of winter I’m usually in short sleeves, lol
Probably in winter. I get a tattoo or piercing almost every winter since it’s the best time to heal
Oh yeah, it’s a bitch if you’ve sweated off the protective plastic by the time you get home, and then it takes longer to heal after :-/
Also sun. Easier to cover up in winter. There’s generally less to do as well due to the snow
