If you see a hanging, assume hate crime until you have extreme evidence otherwise.

Black people, and this cannot be stated enough, would never knowingly inflict the horrors of lynching upon their community, doubly so in the south. If you see a hanging, assume hate crime until you have extreme evidence otherwise.
