These things look cheaply built which means the windows and walls are not soundproofed or anything like that and you will hear everything going on outside because every wall is an exterior wall. An apartment trades the barely effective 6 foot air gap for slightly heavier construction which reduces sound between apartments.

As opposed to a cheaply built apartment? Why are they soundproofing the apartment walls and not the housing walls? Do you guys know we have building codes and standards?
