Antisemitism has long festered on the internet, but the Israel-Gaza war and the loosening of content moderation on X have propelled it to unprecedented levels.

I like how he’s saying he’ll sue Media Matters for supposedly lying about him endorsing the antisemitic Tweet. Because the discovery phase when they show that he did, in fact, endorse the antisemitic Tweet will be glorious.

I’m hoping they’ll feign interest and attentively listen to his free speech long enough to have plenty of material/ammunition to quote his rhetoric as a frivolous waste of time, and slam his ass in the ruling so he’s too embarrassed to appeal. Just one bag’s worth at least.

If he does appeal, I still have plenty of popcorn left.

Well, you see, one of the primary offenders went and bought the platform. And, like, everyone else just let him because money.

Not just let him. Forced him to buy it. He was fucking around and made a joke offer and the court decided we they really, really wanted him to own Twitter so badly they would require him to buy it.

See, he should have remembered he was an idiot fucking around before he signed a legally binding contract that he would do it. At that point the Twitter execs were bound to force the deal through, because they were obligated to maximize shareholder profits, and let’s face it, there was never going to be another overpriced offer like that again.

Too busy labeling NPR as state-sponsored, etc, to care about terrorist type discourse.

Artists, scientists, authors, professors, people just trying to be normal in general, etc. They do still exist there. Otherwise there wouldn’t be pushback.

To illustrate, there is little to no pushback on Truth Social, because that place actually is full of nothing but idiots, with exception for reporters who have accounts just to keep tabs on things, like whatever Trump’s latest meltdown is. I cannot remember the last time anything but Trump posts were reported from that platform. It’s just too stupid and vanilla MAGA to be worth bothering with.

        They don’t mean antisemitism.

        They mean criticism of Israel.

The Jewish people I’ve known have been lovely, like, exceptionally so, and I’m sure that overall they’re no better or worse than any other large group of people.

Israel can go eat shit though.

Does anyone else hate the two-full-sentence headlines? They give me real “top ten youtubers… who’ve SWORN” headline vibes

The sad thing is, they use it because it works. It gets more attention and clicks than other headlines. It’s like why YouTubers do the whole “Like and subscribe!” spiel - their analytics tell them they get more like and subscribes when they say it vs when they don’t.
