    I’m sorry, but only a moron compares delivery service prices to actual prices. For example, grubhub in my area says $13.49 for the whopper meal, but I can go through the drive-up less than a mile from my home and pay just over $10 after tax. This means grubhub is inflating base prices by 40-ish% before tacking on other fees.

    Don’t get me wrong… inflation is at an all time high of 18% compared to 2020, so items cost 18% more on average now, but this is not something unexpected. The feds in the US have been keeping interest rates at near 0% for over a decade, since 2009, to combat the great recession and pandemic… we’re now seeing the effects of those two issues now that the market feels it can correct itself.
