Because the current charging stations don’t have enough to kill someone? This seems really overblown, like they’re just going to have live wires you have to connect to your car or something. There will probably be no real difference in charging for the user.
safety is written in blood. and the average car driver has no business near what essentially is an electrically charged bomb.
what happens when someone thinks they can do the repairs themselves?
there are already horrific stories about EV cars crashing and needing thousands of gallons of water to put out…which btw water does not put out class delta fires it makes them explode from the reaction.
Same goes with an open tank of a combustible liquid, right? And filling it with a combustible liquid gun. Sooo safe!
i never said it wasn’t. they both have inherent risks. but id rather put out a gas fire than get a full dose of amps to the face
