Looks like a Business professor might have gone down the MAGA hole and was essentially blacklisted in education. Heavy.com has a whole background on this guy if you care.
I don’t know if MAGA is necessarily accurate. The stuff I’ve been reading, his interests seemed more varied than that, yeah, he points to the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and I think there was one link to some Alex Jones bullshit, but it doesn’t seem universal in his opinions.
He DID seem to have a mild obsession with Las Vegas though… one of his former students called that out. So maybe he cracked when UNLV denied his job application? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
His academic and teaching history seems solid, lots of positive comments.
It’s probably the Alex Jones parts they are talking about.
