New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez is slated to resign by the end of the day Tuesday, about a month after a jury convicted him on federal bribery charges.

    There are a lot of things worth criticizing him for but I don’t think this is one of them. You and I would likely act the same if we had the choice of timing our resignation.

      Dawg I think you lost the plot here. Dude’s resigning because he was caught in corruption. You can criticize him for further exploiting his power to enrich himself.

          Considering these are bribery charges and “investigators found $480,000 in cash and more than $100,000 worth of gold bars” just at his home, I think he has plenty of money.
