    Only because obsessing over any single strategy is foolish. Countering oil company propaganda is and will remain important, it just can’t be the sole focus, which is a fair criticism.

      I think stopping them from being able to shill the propaganda in the first place is sort of the point here. They are allowed to just make ads that are 100% bullshit, but as long as it doesn’t mention a product, it’s technically not an “advertisement” subject to laws (can’t be hit for false advertising, for example).
