Hamas won’t go away until their head of recruitment, Benjamin Netanyahu, stops filling their ranks so he has more people he hates that he can slaughter.

And Hamas should definitely go away.

The leadership on both sides would not only lose power, but likely end up in prison or dead, if there’s ever peace.

They won’t do anything towards a peaceful solution.

Israel is sowing the seeds of revenge in the Palestinian population.

The list of desperate persons that don’t have anything to lose anymore is growing rapidly

The worst thing is. They are the people that should know. The grudges and the grief of victimhood and persecution should be well instilled in the Israeli population.

if it’s an actual genocide and they push through, there will be nobody left to carry out a revenge.

they won’t thoough, because bibi needs the constant threat to stay in power and avoid prosecution

it’s very slow for an actual genocide. AFAIK there’s only about 5.5 million palestinians. the israely military is heavily overpowered, but so far they have murdered less than 50k. the germans would have been mostly done by now.

The term genocide was never associated with high death figure. Hamas numbers are very underestimated due to the health system collapse.

Hundreds of Genocide Scholars have described this ethnic cleansing campaign as genocide because of the deliberate targeting of children/civilians and expressed intent by Israeli officials.

            Quote

So, when we look at the actions taken, the dropping of thousands and thousands of bombs in a couple of days, including phosphorus bombs, as we heard, on one of the most densely populated areas around the world, together with these proclamations of intent, this indeed constitutes genocidal killing, which is the first act, according to the convention, of genocide. And Israel, I must say, is also perpetrating act number two and three — that is, causing serious bodily or mental harm, and creating condition designed to bring about the destruction of the group by cutting off water, food, supply of energy, bombing hospitals, ordering the fast evictions of hospitals, which the World Health Organization has declared to be, quote, “a death sentence.” So, we’re seeing the combination of genocidal acts with special intent. This is indeed a textbook case of genocide.

There are certainly much more dead than those officially accounted for right now, due to the ongoing genocide and eradication of the Healthcare / Aid infrastructure

            Quotes

In recent conflicts, such indirect deaths range from three to 15 times the number of direct deaths. Applying a conservative estimate of four indirect deaths per one direct death9 to the 37 396 deaths reported, it is not implausible to estimate that up to 186 000 or even more deaths could be attributable to the current conflict in Gaza. Using the 2022 Gaza Strip population estimate of 2 375 259, this would translate to 7·9% of the total population in the Gaza Strip. A report from Feb 7, 2024, at the time when the direct death toll was 28 000, estimated that without a ceasefire there would be between 58 260 deaths (without an epidemic or escalation) and 85 750 deaths (if both occurred) by Aug 6, 2024.10

Armed conflicts have indirect health implications beyond the direct harm from violence. Even if the conflict ends immediately, there will continue to be many indirect deaths in the coming months and years from causes such as reproductive, communicable, and non-communicable diseases. The total death toll is expected to be large given the intensity of this conflict; destroyed health-care infrastructure; severe shortages of food, water, and shelter; the population’s inability to flee to safe places; and the loss of funding to UNRWA, one of the very few humanitarian organisations still active in the Gaza Strip

yeah, i know that. it’s still weird it’s going so slow, don’t you think? if they want to eradicate all palestinians, there should be multiple millions dead by now. i suspect a lot of peoples brains shut down when the israelis started the murdering and even if unsure, people call it a genocide, giving the benefit of the doubt in hopes of stopping the bloodbath. it doesn’t matter to me how we call it. we can call it genocide, but it looks pretty half-assed for it.

They’ve been doing genocide for 70 years without a lot of the world noticing. Seems like their plan: metered genocide.

logic dictates: if they want to complete it, they must kill more than the birth rate. so either they are that stupid or they intentionally don’t want to wipe out all palestinians.
