This isn’t going to hurt Google’s antitrust cases at all… Noooo sir.

It is even worse than that. He wears his hair in a way that the it does not go below his eyebrows and ear lobes. But the school is mad that it could . It makes my blood boil.
Wtf are you on about? We give SpaceX nowhere near the funds we give NASA.
We gave NASA $25 billion this year.
SpaceX was awarded a $2.9B contract to fund the entire “land starship on the moon” program (a non cost+ contact I might add) spanning multiple years. They launched two sets of crew to the iss this year, at an estimated cost of ~700m. They have had one cargo mission this year at a cost of about $150m.
Once, while traveling though Idaho, I came across someone peeling a potato in a reststop bathroom…
That whooshing sound, in case you were curious, was the point sailing right over your head.
Two wrongs don’t make a right. Criticizing Israeli actions is not implicit approval of Hamas actions.
The challenge here is that Hamas are generally considered to be the bad guys. You expect the bad guys to do evil shit.
Israel is supposed to be the good guys in this scenario. Being the good guys means you are not expected to do evil shit, and are supposed to do the right thing even if it is harder. Except right now they are doing orders more magnitude evil shit than the bad guys. I don’t think it is unfair to call them out on that.
Hamas are not the good guys. That doesn’t make the hospital the bad guys, and it doesn’t make everyone in Gaza complicit. Your inability to separate different actors in this scenario is limiting your perspective and objectivity.
This is how to tell someone you haven’t checked grocery prices lately without actually telling them you haven’t checked grocery prices lately. A box of mediocre pasta alone is going to cost you $1.75. A jar of Preggo will run you another 2.50. So 4.25 for an I hate life spaghetti and marinara meal.
The sauce they make probably doesn’t come out of a jar of reconstituted tomato paste and dried seasonings either.
If you buy decent ingredients you are looking at $3 for the pasta and $9 for the sauce. Or $12 for an “ok for a home cook” spaghetti meal with no protein.
Restaurant serving sizes (for better or worse) are usually 2x+ larger than you would serve at home. Rent isn’t free for the restaurant either. Or labor. Or utilities. Or equipment. Etc. General rule of thumb is that a restaurant needs to charge 3x raw food costs to cover expenses.
So your I hate life pasta would need to be priced at $6.50 and your ok for home but not something I would be happy with getting at a restaurant pasta would need to be priced at $18.
If by simple you mean “can’t count from 1 to 10 in a loop” and by elegant you mean “easier to understand than a one line perl script” then sure…
That’s because it is absolutely terrible. It is the first serious/real “language” I have encountered since Cobol where indent level has functional meaning. This is not good company to be in.
With all of the violence going on in the world today, I am constantly surprised at how little of it is directed towards insurance company offices.
I’ve met more mature 7 year olds.
That’s the whole point. Unless you are a dog you don’t hear it. Otherwise it would just be a normal whistle…
It looks like the warhead went off during flight. The explosion/fireball was most likely from unspent fuel from the the rocket. It definitely wasn’t a high energy explosion, it was more like the “atomize and set fire to gasoline” explosion fx you see in movies.
The evidence available makes it pretty clear that the hospital was not /targeted/. That makes the incident a tragic accident, not a deliberate overt act – regardless of who is ultimately responsible.
There is currently only one verified video of the rocket strike. At best you can discern the direction the rocket came from, not who fired it. The magnitude of the explosion and the direction it came from makes it more likely to be an Israeli rocket, but that isn’t conclusive.
Everything else you’ve seen is fake/propaganda.
The whistle tells you the direction the rocket came from relative to the position of the camera. We know the rocket had to pass over the camera position before striking the hospital, and from that you can extrapolate where it came from.
None of the videos purporting to show a misfired rocket align with the one verified video showing the strike. The video posted by idf of what they claim is the rocket barrage responsible for hitting the hospital was shown to have been taken after the hospital strike (and has since been removed from their post).
There is a lot of finger pointing and blame going on right now. I’m less inclined to believe the side misrepresenting evidence, but neither side can be trusted on their word alone. This means we need evidence, which is in short supply at the moment.
