Is that not how it currently works? I was under the impression that’s how it works for me at least. What behaviour are you seeing?
1·17 days agoBy the same logic however, mods would have no power to actually moderate. Their moderation ability is directly proportional to their potential for abuse. And I think we can all agree we’ve long passed the point where communities are able to survive without moderation, at least in their current form (which is what OP is discussing).

Revolut should be watching for suspicious transactions and blocking them like proper banks are required to do.
There’s nothing in the article to indicate this isn’t already the case. No suspicious activity algorithm will be foolproof. Also, revolut is certified as an actual bank in the EU, and subject to the standard bank regulations.
All I’m reading in this article is stupid people who don’t follow basic security practices. Why is any of this Revolut’s fault?

That helps somewhat, but if the house gets demolished with a bulldozer that’s still a lot of asbestos floating around again. The point is, you don’t know what will happen to it in the future, and it’s just not safe to have semi hazardous material lying around everywhere.
