An interesting point made with the advancement of 200GB bluray discs but I don’t think it’s really needed for games to go that far. Also having a console without physical media is just wrong to me so I guess PS5 is my end of the line.

Some of the news is sad to see but I agree with you that something needed/needs to be done with Xbox.

Puzzle Swap
The only thing game related this week is collecting puzzle pieces on the 2DS. I added all the extra boards that were released so now I have almost two thousand pieces to collect using NetPass!

Are you asking me or telling me why it’s not worth it?
At the moment I don’t see much upside to upgrading from my Switch. Increased performance, screen resolution and screen size make it tempting though but not enough to justify the price.

I probably finish 1% of the games I start :/ Not even the ones I enjoy most.

£600 in 21 years apparently and most of that is from the first 10 years too. It’s not my go-to store anymore.

Brain Training is in there to stop my mind from turning to mush…

raised a kid
I remember the Wii U being the greatest thing with a newborn because of the second screen. Holding a sleeping baby and playing Breath of the Wild was cool :D

I have a Series S and the usable storage is around the 360GB mark.
I’m not going to buy GTA6 but imagine having to dedicate your whole console to 1 game :(

Luigis Mansion
I finally got around to 3ds.hack.guide and started playing LM on the 2DS. The controls take a bit if getting used to but it’s still a great game.
Balatro
I finished my first run yesterday but still have lots to discover :)

There is no need to be so strict so just mix it up and do it all.

In general, pre order hardware and not software, but if you’re excited for the game though then go for it :)

Shattered Pixel Dungeon looks like a fun one.
I’ve never been interested in playing games on my phone but over the last 2 months I’ve actually been playing more and more. Mostly PSP emulation but also some Balatro and Don’t Starve.

Honestly the thing I like about the Epic launcher is how basic it is. Making it faster is great but user profiles and personal recommendations I couldn’t care less about.

Plexamp
If I’m working then normally I use the smart playlists to mix it up a little.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park on the Playstation was bad and also quite difficult but I loved it.

I remember it had a 4 player co-op demo that was a lot of fun. Never bought it though :\
Still mostly playing on the 2DS and I’d recommend anyone tempted by 3ds.hack.guide to do it.
Nintendo Pocket Football
It’s a cutesy football manager game where you upgrade stats, choose tactics and watch your little players kick the ball about. I mostly lose.
