Shocked I tell you. I am shocked.
Shocked I tell you. I am shocked.
I like a certain level of quality when it comes to audio.
When I’m making music, I use in ear monitors from shure with a flat response because it would throw off my mixes otherwise. Same with my presonus speakers. Flat response.
But for causally watching content, its fine for me to use some bookshelf speakers or even a bluetooth speaker. Its not super important for watching content for me as long as its not total trash.
Meds do help in my case. My issues was not procrastination so much as id procrastinate and then forget about it.
Meds help me remember to do things and stay more organized but they don’t make it super easy, just easier. I think the biggest thing is they make me feel awake. Before meds, i always felt like i was tired. Probably because my brain was always in overdrive.
Feeling awake helps motivate me to get stuff done.
I’m using amphetamine salts or generic adderall
Brother printers are your best bet. And maybe try sudo.
What are you doing step-LAN?
Great question that I dont have an answer for. Maybe one of the foundations that supports Linux development? This is just my hope though. No idea what it would really take to maintain Firefox at this point. Maybe if it was scaled down or something it’d be ok in the hands of just the open source community as a whole but I’m not well versed in programming or development so i dont know.
I gotta try and be optimistic about this kinda stuff because i forsee a future where Google just ruins more and more of the internet and i hate the thought of that.
While I do want competition in the web space, its a good thing that Google could get told to stop doing stuff like this.
I dont want Mozilla to die of course but companies need to be held responsible for all the shit they pull. I’d imagine if Mozilla wasnt able to maintain firefox anymore it would fall to the open source community like they said in the article and I’d probably still use it.
No one company should own the internet.
Lol ive had that kind of experience as well. I got lucky and first med i tried was really effective. I’m now able to just stop thinking for a while. All the voices are quiet and no music plays.
I just got diagnosed last year and ive had ADHD all my life without knowing it so super weird to just have a quiet head. I get what you mean, its such a drastic change, but a good one.
Before i was got on meds, i constantly had music playing in my head along with all the other thoughts that were trying to be heard.
No company or entity should have the ability to sell my information. And at the very least not have access to it without my consent.
Especially if it influences how much I pay for insurance. Next thing you know, if you live near a McDonalds, your health insurance is gonna go up.
88 x 8TB drives? 704 TB of storage?
You got a whole damn data center lol. Good stuff dude. Was this off of ebay or direct from a company? I’m curious to know the total cost.
“Oh bother, I’m stuck in this hole in this big tree and i cant get out!”
Oh hey thats me.
My anxiety isnt too bad if im doing something ive done before. In new situations that u haven’t gone through is when my brain kicks it up and starts playing out what could happen and how we would deal with it.
Fair point, to be quite honest it took me a while to even find those two sites. There may be better sources available but i also use duckduckgo for searching so ymmv.
But I absolutely agree with you. I do hybrid remote with my company and it not only saves me time but improves my quality of life significantly even only at 2 days a week.
And thats just what’s normally available as i can request to work from home under special circumstances like when my cat was sick and i wanted to be around to make sure he was alright.
Work from home should be available to everyone it can possibly apply to like office work, programming, call center, etc in my opinion.
I was curious if someone was gonna mention KDE connect. From what i saw it looked pretty good though i havent used it myself.
Yea i use chatgpt to help me write code for googleappscript and as long as you dont rely on it super heavily and or know how to read and fix the code, its a great tool for saving time especially when you’re new to coding like me.

Couple links i found with sources for the statistics. Owllabs is a common source between tem but i tried to find at least 2 sites with different sources.
Idk if anyone else has this but i get a weird flow state where i read the subtitles and its like the characters are talking in english but i if think about it, it stops.
I tried umbrel and wasnt super impressed. It seemed like it would function alright for the small amount of things i was trying to do but broke shortly after installing. I set up pihole and i think jellyfin since i was just testing it out on an older laptop.
I’ve heard decent things about CasaOS but have not used it myself.
