I never said I wish it to happen. I said I wouldn’t really care if it happened. Why would you have zero sympathy for me? I haven’t raped anyone because I understand how fucked up it is. I think everyone knows that, yet some people do it. So yes, if that rapist gets raped himself and experience the sheer horror he himself put someone else through, then I would be completely indifferent.
This whole idea of “poor evil people” is why shit is the way it is in the west now.

Raping someone is not some simple mistake, it’s several decisions made on top of each other. People with that level of disregard for another human will get zero sympathy from me.

I’m with you (although I’m Scandinavian, we have better systems in place for sick leave and childcare etc.). I’ve worked afternoons 14-23:30 M-T or nightshift 23:30-6:30 T-F + every other Monday to fill out the hours, almost all my life. Dayshift colleagues ask how I can stand it, but I wonder how they can stand it. If I’m going to the dentist, barber, shopping, or any other errand under the sun, I have no issues getting a time slot within max a couple of days, usually the day after.
Well okay fair enough actually. No I haven’t seen the movie but I know the gist of it. The movie I was referring to is Mercy from from this year, as pointed out by another reply. Like, the entire movie is about that. Not just one scene.

Dude, thank you. Genuinely. I’ve always been baffled by Americans constantly arguing that healthcare in Europe “isn’t free because taxes”. Included in our ~35% tax is healthcare, all education from first grade all the way trough college/Uni, parents get like 2 years of PTO when the child is born, etc.
If you add together the costs of all of the above in the US, It’d vastly outweigh what they “save” in lower taxes.
