Agree. TSA could be doing more meaningful work for the amount spent
These calls aren’t necessarily rare, but they aren’t routine if that makes sense.
Avoiding miscommunications and de-escalating tensions is the entire point of these lines.
I remember reading a story about US military leadership contemplating striking a target in Syria a while back. Russians (mercenaries or regular armed forces) were suspected to be operating in the area, but their generals denied presence on this emergency line, so the US bombed away. Russians ended up among the dead, but their leadership denied sponsorship, so this wasn’t necessarily a “US targets and bombs Russians” event which could lead to general warfare.
I didn’t know either. Such a strange and unusual show - I haven’t seen anything quite like it.
Aluminum with a thin plastic liner. Only glass gets away without any use of plastics, and even they maybe not, as I haven’t seen any bottle caps without some sort of lining lately
Some TVs may project fake static.
Just because OTA broadcasts are digital doesn’t mean you are stuck with all or nothing. You can definitely have poor signal and see or hear something other than what was intended. Doesn’t manifest as analog static, but depending on your decoding and error correction schemes, you can have cut audio, frozen frames, iframe inconsistencies, and stuttering.
Sunny has taught me that everything works out if you’re a main character.
Enjoy it! You could be driving another fun car with a completely boring sounding engine (cough FL5 cough) with almost no good sounding exhausts that aren’t just noise.
Can’t imagine many news publications are offering competitive job offers.
Job hunting isn’t that great at the moment
Glorious 160x150 resolution
The pay ranges from $20 an hour for junior employees to around $38 an hour for senior employees. Add in overtime and some people push $200k per year.
Nobody is really capped at $79k yearly
There was a British superhero TV show called Misfits. One of the delinquents had the power to control milk, I.e. you drink milk and this guy could curdle it in your body and kill you.
Are we both thinking about 15% BAC murderin’ Jesus here?
Russia claimed and held territory. Their military leadership doesn’t particularly value human lives in this conflict and hasn’t historically either. I have no doubt that they will continue the course suffering heavy human losses and eventually find some form of victory.
Ukraine needs more people if they want any hope of staving that eventuality off. The Russians have very different ideas of fighting a war of attrition.
Quantity is a quality of its own. I’d say Ukraine is hanging on with advanced weaponry. It needs the mass to push Russian troop advances and repel their forces out of their country.
Anything else is keeping the status quo of roughly even wins and losses, which will never lead to victory in the next decade.
I’m imagining the GruWithGun.jpg meme with this slogan and I think it might just work.
Another senseless tragedy. Boeing sends thoughts and prayers to the family of littletranspunk
I’m top 1% in something, so that’s nice
I’d think the skull is unusable without any processing anyways. Coffee is slightly acidic and bones will dissolve over time. Plus, bones are porous not unlike terra cotta pots. You’d need to glaze the interior or something after you seal the major holes
I get around this by being unable to read my own writing
