Hey, that’s how old my baby boy turned today. What a coincidence!

I read that the ballots need to be printed within the next week so this ensures that the measure will be on the ballot in Missouri.
That probably just scraped off from the other plane like when a car leaves an imprint of their license plate during a crash.
I’m not a fan of Tabasco so I wholeheartedly say “nay.” If we’re talking classic Sriracha or something less vinegary, then by all means “yea”.
Remember when Netflix first started raising prices claiming it was all going to go toward new content that people would be excited for? That was years ago now and we’ve seen additional increases, along with ads, and blocking account sharing and their content still sucks for the most part.
Those lives have already been ruined. Coming back years later and saying “we messed up” doesn’t give these people that time back.
Those stupid laws still exist (as outlined in my second example) and are still used against people today, including seizing their property and refusing to give it back without spending years in costly litigation, all without a single crime having been committed. You’re highlighting exactly what’s missing here: actual change. He wants the headlines inferring that he’s actually taking progressive action without having to actually change anything for the better.
I’ve been using Grafana and InfluxDB to maintain device history as it can store everything for as long as you want. You might look into it if this new change doesn’t give you what you’re looking for.
“Best we can offer is a Republican created plan to offer insurance outside of employment and an additional tax if you don’t/can’t participate in it.” ~Democrats
Yes it seems like most of these actions are symbolic gestures that never pan out into actual change. Like asking for marijuana to be ‘studied’ to see if it belongs as Schedule 1 with no medical value while 38 states have approved it for medical use and 24 states have legalized it for recreational use. What the fuck is left to study at this point?
Another example is him pardoning people with federal marijuana possession convictions even though nobody was actually incarcerated for simple possession in the federal prison system.
Seems this shit is all about generating headlines and political brownie points not actually improving anything in our day to day lives.
Seems reasonable on something dangerous like a toaster oven or pressure cooker that you obviously wouldn’t want to leave on and unattended. These lights use almost no power at all.
Yes those small LED indicator lights use around 10-20mA of current at like 3V which is only 0.06W of power.
Nah, I know for a fact that the Whopper has been enshittified since at least the 90s. It used to be one of my favorites but now tastes like shit and costs 3x the price.
Autopilot is just advanced cruise control. I think you’re conflating it with FSD which is their autonomous driving feature.
Are you ripping and encoding them with Handbrake? You can at least speed it up a bit by just ripping them with MakeMKV and then leaving them in the full quality format to skip the long encode. This will take up more HDD space but save a ton of time comparably.
What negative connotation? Energy drinks are incredibly popular and this stuff contains more caffeine than coffee. Also coffee is pretty unmistakable for what it is, while lemonade loaded with caffeine is not.
How does any of that prove the claim? Surely independent crash data would show these vehicles are involved in many more accidents than other vehicles if it’s true, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
He says this yet they’re already out on the roads logging millions of miles without any outsized danger. Just because we get sensational headlines about a driver behind the wheel who crashed into the side of a semi, doesn’t mean they’re any more dangerous than any other car. AFAIK Tesla still has far fewer wrecks than many others. These driving aids have a lot of room for improvement but they only need to be better than an average driver in order to reduce accidents.
Yep the dude totally killed himself to get that sweet Panera payout. 🤦♂️
Do restaurants typically give out free refills on Red Bull, Monster, or Starbucks? “Charged” could easily be a knockoff Gatorade as their logo is a lighting bolt and I would never expect a restaurant to give out free energy drinks at the refill station.
So, if I understand this correctly, this woman is being sued by the state if California for making a list of bad cops using knowledge that she may have obtained prior to her working for the DA’s office? Isn’t that fucking special. What are they going to do about the bad cops?
