Bernie really seemed like he had momentum and a real shot, once the DNC basically shoved Hillary in as the choice it became really easy to see Trump as an appealing option, even if it’s just as a change agent. I caught on to the pedophilia stories before that election, so I couldn’t stomach voting for him even if I somehow were able to ignore the obvious Russian ties.

The sigh of relief when Biden won in 2020 was collective. Everyone was just so happy to have a sane president again and not have to stress about him tweeting out threats to North Korea on a Tuesday.
