Everything I find shows them as still being subsidized and receiving the lions share of energy subsidies, which is fine in my book.

One is favored by both sides of the aisle and has already been passed. There are yet more measures that are favored by a vast majority of the population and have data to support their effectiveness. We should start with the low hanging fruit before we start climbing the tree.

Enforce our ban on domestic abusers owning firearms. We already passed it, but no one enforces it. It would eliminate a huge chunk of gun violence in the nation, but its not as appealing to the mob as the “assault style” ban.
This is why they had to close the shower we had at work
You can’t rush a good shit
Dark pattern, i learned something new today, thank you. Using that term had led me to others who notice it as well.
Nice! Maybe so.
If you have a Gmail account with promotional emails, go into your promotional inbox and just mouse around a little bit near the top 10 emails. You’ll most likely see it move the ads around
The only way to disable them is to disable the inbox sorting setting (where it sorts primary, promotional, and social). As it is, it only puts adds in the promotional inbox. The worst thing is, i swear it knows where your mouse is and re sorts your emails so an ad lands right below your mouse, increasing the number of ad clicks and the ad revenue. I’ve had this happen to be multiple times.
For sure they are silly big. They wouldn’t need to convert all of their branches at the same time though. Primarily focus it around coasts and waterways, convert bit by bit as needed. They won’t convert unless it is cheaper or required by regulation

Please provide translation as well
Your missing out bro
True, but every place i went to on all of the islands out there had the straws, as well as the disposable silverware of the same material. 1.4 million people live there and like 10 million tourists visit each year. Most of those tourists are eating out every meal. The cruise ships all have them. It seemed at a decent scale, i think its finna scale bro
Hawaii has straws already figured out. They feel and work like regular ass straws, yet they are biodegradable and made from Papayai i think. Every restaurant and vendor i came across used them. Idk why it hasnt spread to the mainland.
Funny to see this. I just switched last week (to get ublock) and it’s o so much better. Only thing i miss is the translate function that chrome has
Bro I’m bad at names IRL. The best tip ive heard is, as soon as you learn it, repeat it till it sticks while picturing the person in your head. Not sure if that applies to games
I think it means warmer than the thumbnail photo it shows at the top. It could mean temperature, it could even be trying to understand our sense of coziness, who knows what the ai is fishing for at any given moment
Yes but concrete is required. It is literally the foundation of modern civilization. It is the second most used substance on the planet after water. Without it we would have to do away with things like roads, power plants (green and carbon emitting), housing, water treatment and waste treatment plants, erosion control and seawalls, and most production facilities for all of our day to day goods and essentials.
The industry is making steps to reduce its up front carbon cost and inrease captured carbon in the concrete, but it is slow moving as big changes can cause major problems with infrastructure. Noone wants their hospital falling down because they used a new mix design that hasn’t been thoroughly tested and tried.
We dont work without concrete, but i’m pretty sure we do work without bitcoin.
If your just looking at fun carbon emitting facts though, then aluminum smelting is another huge number like 4% globally. Concrete is like 7% globally, and HVAC is like 12%.
