You chose Trump
I already said I voted for a non-genocidal candidate (PSL). My vote had no impact on the election and America is not really a democracy anyway.

You seem to be under the mistaken assumption that Democrats are entitled to my vote. Their self-concept is that they’re “the good cop” on domestic policies while in practice doing absolutely demonic shit to people abroad the same as any Republican but with a thin rainbow coating. That doesn’t entitle them to shit from me, other than contempt.
Yeah, they didn’t even have a real primary and just at the end inserted the lady who got less electors than Andrew Yang in her home state. It just looked like politicians clinging to power rather than allowing any hint of democracy in the so-called democratic party.
Maybe the Democrats should have armed fewer genocides if they wanted people to be excited to vote for them.
Gay and trans people have already been dying to American bombs just that they’re in Palestine makes it a back burner issue? as a trans person I stand by voting for a non genocidal candidate as suggested by the PFLP.
They lost so hard they lost the popular vote, like you can’t even blame me for voting PSL, if you took every third party voter and added them to Kamala in every swing state, she still would have lost the ones she lost anyways.
My friend in PA got one of those postcards and it was like “your vote may not be public but if you vote is :)”.
I don’t know why they thought sending veiled threats to voters was somehow motivational, but here we are.
she’s electable if you vote for her!
Don’t forget to pokemon go to the polls.
Yeah the supreme Court decided the election the last time around when it was close, within my lifetime! I was saying many months ago that if the Democrats are serious about wanting to win they should really be packing that thing well before the election. 🤦♀️
I’ve seen you post good takes
that actually made me blush, you’re too kind!
I am super good at missing out the context before I reply to things in my inbox, didn’t mean to be curt with you
until next time 🫡
I’m glad we agree
I’ll make sure to file this away the next time I feel like bringing up the US’s active participation in genocide any time the US is the subject of conversation.
isn’t this whataboutism
they have managed to set a trend for filling the night sky with shitty little low orbit satellites chewing up the ozone layer
in authoritarian regime, state security forces are empowered to extrajudicially execute protestors
What’s this Bread Day about?
I had no idea either, its new after my time at least
The holiday was established in 2006 on the initiative of the International Union of Bakers and Pastry Chefs. And the choice of date is due to the fact that on October 16, 1945, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was created, which dealt with the problems of developing agriculture and its production. Incidentally, another holiday is also timed to coincide with this event - World Food Day.
This article is a little weirdly structured, like yeah the traditional values indoctrination is cringe, they say that they saw this in a bunch of schools October 14-21 and that it was mostly non-military stuff
However, most of the reports reviewed by 7x7 focused on topics unrelated to politics or the war. Lessons were also held in connection with Father’s Day and Bread Day, and several kindergartens discussed what it means to be an adult.
Part of the reason theyre having soldiers in and related activities around 10/22 is that its white crane day, which is a day when WW2 fallen get remembered, and part of the reason for the veteran reading poems is because the holiday itself is named after a poem.
they only mention in the article that it was a poem about the SMO, but on the linked VK post they say that it was poems that he had written about exploits of people in the great patriotic war, and the SMO. the actually noteworthy thing for Western readers I think is the way that they’re being tied together, for a lot of Russians the framing that one is a continuation of the other lands.
Just based off how comfortable Americans are, no.
The point of what I was saying was that it’s not as explicitly gender-neutral as something like “person”. Thus the example of asking a cishet guy how that guy he married is doing, it just doesn’t scan. It’s not a huge distinction in most situations and is generally appropriate, but its also pretty clearly a passive aggressive dig when it’s used in situations where it’s the singular and the subject has made their gender clear.
You’re welcome to dispute that it’s not used as passive aggressive dig, but I’m just citing lived experience.
Unless they’re Palestinian, in which case it’s open season.
If you added every third party vote to Democrats in swing states they would still have lost by a large margin. Democrats were the ones who let the COVID-era mail in voting end because they were so hard for ending COVID money to people. Seems like a self-own.
