Alberta is the most conservative and most religious province in Canada. The Prime Minister of Alberta is a woman named Danielle Smith.
This is what she said two years ago:
Alberta is very rich because they have a ton of oil. But it’s really badly managed.
Norway has a lot of oil, but Norwegians have an investment fund to help future generations. Norwegians have strong labor rights. They are very environmentally conscious. They try to reduce plastics, they travel by bicycle, they use electric cars.
Alberta is the exact opposite. The big oil companies are privately owned. Local politicians oppose measures to reduce plastics pollution:
Alberta politicians also blame a lot of their local problems on Canada.
It’s just sad.
Because many people keep posting pictures, putting their real name and sharing personal info on facebook (“I’m a married male that works in Architecture. I studied at Michigan University and live in Ann Arbor”). This shit basically makes Zuck richer because he can sell more accurate data to companies.
Because many dumb US States are kissing his ass to get data centers that will use water, electricity, generate pollution and create little to/no jobs. Dumb politicians think they are getting a great deal.
This is the guy who wrote ‘they trust me. Dumb fucks’ in an email.

Salut. Merci pour ton message. Je ne regarde pas toujours mes messages privés.
Je vais tenter de passer sur le chat.
Cordialement,
US Speeding fines are actually significantly lower than fines in Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia or Asia.
Contrarily to a common myth, US cities/states don’t finance themselves with speeding fines. It’s a tiny drop in the bucket. New York cameras issued $23,5 million in tickets. The annual budget of New York City is $115 billion dollars.
One of the thing you notice on US social media is that several american men (it’s always men!!) call major US cities crime-ridden democratic shitholes. They want harsh punishments for lawbreakers. Cops beat up someone? “He probably deserved it. Respect the law!!” they will say.
These same accounts keep denouncing tickets and speed cameras. They clearly don’t see breaking the law as a bad thing. Some even cheer attacks on cameras (destruction of public property). It’s actually insane these “law and order” folks don’t notice the hypocrisy.
