I’m not covering anything up, and I don’t feel there’s been any confrontation.
I think christianity is frankly embarrassing, the fact that a judean blood-mystery cult has survived to the 21st century is again, embarrassing.
there’s nothing unique about christianity, it came from a time and place that churned out these cults almost a means of necessity; it’s all bronze-aged fan fiction and I don’t care which one is your favorite when they are all so revolting and insulting to all it is to be human.

if I were the god everyone is claiming they’re slaughtering for - I sure would want to intervene and clear things up; seems pretty basic to me.
